The 2025 edition of Rallye Vidreiro Centro de Portugal was officially presented. The ceremony took place at the emblematic Resinagem Building in Marinha Grande, where the Automóvel Club of Marinha Grande announced all the details of the event that once again closes the Campeonato de Portugal de Ralis. The major highlight of this edition is the creation of the Rallye Vidreiro Arena, in partnership with the Rally Series Promoter, which will transform Expocentro in Pombal into a unique stage for rally excitement, bringing the public even closer to the competition.

The morning opens again in São Pedro de Moel (11:00, 14.13 km), continues in Pombal (12:15, 14.80 km) and Mata Mourisca (13:00, 16.47 km), before the debut of the highly anticipated Arena Expocentro Super Special (13:30, 1.50 km). In the afternoon, the Pombal (15:15, 14.80 km) and Mata Mourisca (16:00, 16.47 km) stages will be repeated, with everything culminating in the Final Show at Arena Expocentro, scheduled for 16:30.
For the president of the Automóvel Club of Marinha Grande, Ferdinando Barros:
“It’s a great pride to present another edition of Rallye Vidreiro Centro de Portugal, which is already one of the highlights of the Campeonato de Portugal de Ralis. In 2025, we’re taking a step forward with the creation of the Arena, in partnership with the Rally Series Promoter, offering the public a completely new experience. It will be a weekend full of emotions, with all the safety and passion that define this event and our region.”
The Mayor of Marinha Grande, Aurélio Ferreira, highlighted:
“the pride in having managed to consolidate Rallye Vidreiro Centro de Portugal at this level, thanks to a solid partnership with Alcobaça and Pombal. It’s a privilege to once again host the National Championship’s decisive round, something that greatly honors our region. I want to thank all institutional partners, the security forces, and especially the Automóvel Club of Marinha Grande for the professionalism with which they organize this event. The challenge I leave is that we continue with this three-municipality model, which has proven so positive for the entire region.”

Meanwhile, the Mayor of Alcobaça, Hermínio Rodrigues, emphasized that:
“Rallye Vidreiro will always be the rally of Marinha Grande, but it’s with great satisfaction that we’ve managed to extend its reach to the neighboring territories of Alcobaça and Pombal. This is an event that brings joy to people — we see crowds cheering for the rally, and that’s priceless. From the start, we knew this was a path toward the development of the Leiria district, and I’m certain it’s just the first of many projects we can develop together.”
The Mayor of Pombal, Pedro Pimpão, reinforced:
“the importance of the spirit of cooperation between the three municipalities, which have been led for four years by mayors who’ve built a relationship of trust and friendship among themselves. This is a rally built on competence, professionalism, and above all, people. We support it because we know the impact it has on the lives of our citizens — motorsport inspires passion, gathers crowds, and promotes the region. I also want to praise the work of the security forces and reaffirm our commitment to continue supporting this event, which means so much to our region.”
As in previous years, Rallye Vidreiro Centro de Portugal 2025 will host the decisive round of the Campeonato de Portugal de Ralis. This year, three major contenders will fight for the national title: Spain’s Dani Sordo, Britain’s Kris Meeke, and Portugal’s Armindo Araújo. The battle promises to be intense until the very last kilometer, reinforcing Rallye Vidreiro’s status as the most anticipated event on the calendar.
